Living
Outside of the fabulous and picturesque downtown area Madison provides to its residents, the borough’s neighborhoods are just as impressive. Beautiful sprawling Colonial homes abound, however Madison’s mix of homes is fairly eclectic, with spacious center-hall homes and charming Victorians scattered throughout the borough. Madison thrives off of a strong sense of community and places high importance on education. In addition to the two universities that call Madison home, the Madison Public Schools play a major role in the identity of the town’s residents.

Schools, Health, Transportation
The Madison Public School System educates over 2,000 students and nearly 75% of graduating seniors from Madison High School attend four-year colleges or universities. Morristown Medical Center serves as the primary hospital for Madison residents and offers some of the finest neonatal care available in the entire State. Due to Madison’s relatively close proximity to New York City, public transportation is vital for this bustling borough. Madison’s handsome 92-year-old stone train station is on the Morristown Line, which offers Midtown Direct service to Penn Station. A monthly pass is $246. The commute takes 50 to 63 minutes.
