Shopping and Dining
The streets of Montclair are lined with both well-known and locally owned businesses. Montclair Center, also known as the Six Corners, is home to the majority of Montclair’s larger, local restaurants, boutique shops, and retail stores. In Upper Montclair, residents and visitors will find well-known favorites like Williams-Sonoma, Gap, Cold Stone Creamery, and Starbucks. Several locally owned, family run businesses can be found in Watchung Plaza. Montclair’s seasonal Farmer’s Market features delicious, just-picked produce, artisan cheeses, and organic breads from local vendors. Housed in the historic Upper Montclair Station building, Montclair Station Restaurant & Bar is a local favorite known for its great flavors and fresh ingredients.

Parks and Recreation
Montclair real estate provides homeowners with easy access to nearly 175 acres of picturesque parks and 160 acres of nature trails. Hikers, bird watchers, and nature enthusiasts enjoy walking the trails of the pristinely preserved Mills Reservation, a 157.15-acre park featuring scenic lookouts and preserved open spaces. The Presby Iris Gardens is known the world over for its breath-taking display of thousands of iris varieties.
